We will pick you up from your port and take you in comfort to Ephesus, where a spectacular and memorable day awaits you. Throughout your tour your professional guide will provide full information about what you see, bringing the city to life for you and answering your questions. You will enjoy a comprehensive tour of this ancient city, during which you will see Hadrian’s, Trajan’s and the Domitian’s Temples; the huge Roman bath; Harbor Street; the Marble Street; the Gates of Mihridates and Mazues; Commercial Agora (market place); Latrina; the Scolastica Baths; Curetes Street; Polio Fountain; Memnius Monument; the Prytaneion;the Odeon; the Satet Agora; the Celcus Library; and the biggest amphitheater in Turkey.
A short distance away from the main site we will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis, otherwise known as Artemision. Artemis was the main goddess of the pre-Christian Ephesians, who built the biggest temple ever dedicated to her.
After lunch we will visit the Ephesus Museum in the nearby town of Selçuk, where you will be able to see many of the artefacts excavated in the city and carefully preserved here, including two original statues of the Goddess Artemis in amazing condition.
After our visit to the museum we will return you to your port at least 45 minutes before the scheduled departure of your ship.
